Crawdaddy’s Ballito – It’s Good…Real Good!

Ballito is buzzing with excitement at the discovery of one of the most popular new South African food franchises right here on the beachfront.

Crawdaddy’s Good Food & Pub Co. is a local legend in Pretoria where the first few franchises were successfully established and have remained packed to capacity ever since.

This is a truly home-grown success story. The original Crawdaddy’s, established in Pretoria in the nineties, is located in the busy Brooklyn area where there are restaurants a plenty. But the Crawdaddy’s formula … great food, large portions, exciting atmosphere and super service… soon established the brand as a market leader and they have never looked back. Now they have opened in Ballito and already Crawdaddy’s is taking the local market by storm.

Allow yourself at least 15 minutes to study the menu which is vast and has an enormous array of enticing dishes. There are plenty of light meals including a range of salads, burgers and Crawdaddy’s own original spud bakes. When it comes to Seafood, Crawdaddy’s is definitely the King. The range of combos is truly impressive with every conceivable combination you can think of, including Chicken & Calamari, Rib & Prawns and even Chicken & Chops! Another of Crawdaddy’s specialities is the Chowders like the Seafood, Crab or Chicken and Prawn Chowders – you’ll love them! 

Meat lovers will be pleased to note that the steaks (as well as the chops) are available in different size portions to cater for the heartiest of appetites with a 1 kg rump, through to a 200 g sirloin for the “not so hungry”. To compliment your steak choose one of the many sauces that are available, or treat yourself to a superb curry as both the prawn and the crab curries are highly recommended. If you have room for dessert, try the Frangelico Tiramisu or the Chocolate Mousse which is served in a crunchy chocolate basket.
